Kora Community Guidelines
Welcome to Kora
At Kora, we strive to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all users. Our Community Guidelines outline the expected behavior for everyone using our app, ensuring that Kora remains a positive space for meaningful connections. These guidelines apply to all interactions within Kora, including profiles, messages, calls, and any other features. By using Kora, you agree to follow these guidelines and our Terms of Service.
Our Commitment to Safety
Kora is committed to preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We strictly prohibit any content or behavior that exploits, endangers, or abuses children, and we take swift action to address violations in accordance with applicable laws and our policies.
Definitions
- Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children, including grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or other forms of sexual exploitation.
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual depiction (e.g., photos, videos, or computer-generated imagery) involving a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. CSAM is illegal and strictly prohibited on Kora.
Rules for Using Kora
To maintain a safe and respectful community, please follow these guidelines:
- Respect All Users
- Treat others with kindness and respect. Do not engage in harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Do not share or solicit personal information that could harm or exploit another user.
- Prohibited Content and Behavior
- No CSAM or CSAE: Any content or behavior related to child sexual abuse or exploitation is strictly prohibited. This includes sharing, requesting, or promoting CSAM or engaging in grooming, sextortion, or trafficking.
- No Illegal Activity: Do not use Kora to engage in or promote illegal activities, including but not limited to violence, drug trafficking, or human trafficking.
- No Explicit Content: Do not share or solicit sexually explicit content, nudity, or pornography, regardless of the age of individuals involved.
- No Spam or Scams: Avoid posting spam, misleading content, or engaging in fraudulent activities, such as phishing or financial scams.
- Authentic Interactions
- Be yourself. Use accurate and truthful information in your profile, including your age and identity.
- Do not impersonate others or create fake accounts to deceive users.
- Safe Communication
- Use Kora’s messaging and call features responsibly. Do not send threatening, abusive, or inappropriate messages.
- Respect other users’ boundaries and consent in all interactions.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter behavior or content that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately using Kora’s in-app reporting feature:
- On the call page, tap the “⋮” icon at the top of the screen to open a dropdown menu.
- Select the “Report User” button, choose a reason for your report, and add any relevant details in the note section.
Reports are reviewed promptly by our moderation team, and we take appropriate action, which may include content removal, account suspension, or reporting to authorities when required by law.

Consequences of Violations
Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in:
- Removal of offending content.
- Temporary or permanent suspension of your account.
- Reporting to law enforcement or relevant authorities, especially in cases involving CSAM or CSAE.
We reserve the right to take action at our discretion to protect the safety and integrity of the Kora community.
Compliance with Laws and Global Standards
Kora’s Community Guidelines are designed to comply with applicable laws and align with global best practices, including the Tech Coalition Child Safety Standards. We work closely with our legal team to ensure our policies meet regulatory requirements.

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our policies or legal requirements. Updates will be posted at kalletech.com/community-guidelines, and we encourage you to review them periodically.
